[ale] SSH Weirdness

On my workstation, I setup openSSH to use public-key authentication. I
created my little key (ssh-keygen) w/a blank passphrase, and put it on my
servers so I can ssh to them sans passwords. (Working on some automation
for patching, and things like that.) Today I also applied the glibc and
nscd patches from Redhat for RH 8.0. Now I cannot SSH into my office
machine, or any of my servers, from either my local subnet (iptables
allows such) or from off-campus (worth a shot, ya know?). Strange indeed.
Any thoughts, besides wait until the morning and give the machine a good
going-over? The box is still running (typing this email on Squirrel
mail), and nmap shows the port open, but it is refusing all
connections....
Weird.
