I think the above is an interesting question... Anyway, a year or so ago, I did some development/hacking using the LM-Sensors package and I seem to recall (Although, I could be a victim of halfhiemers here...) that the data transport protocol used in pcmcia is cardbus. Anybody know if I'm right? At the time I did not pay much attention to it because I was concerned with using the various sensor protocols as opposed to writing something pcmcia specific.
