Some vendor on ebay mostly sells cracked LCDs with intact backlights, although I don't think the demand, (and thus the price,) on intact Sony LCDs is all that high. ??I can probably remember to both attend and bring my LCD junk collection Thursday to give an anticipatory briefing on switching out the parts.
 
If Sony stashes the inverter board in the cover (upper half,) you may want to look for this, depending on what they go for, and cover the remote possibility that it's not the bulb.
