[ale] best terminal-based browsers?

For web pages my company doesn't need to know I surf (computerjobs.com,
etc.) I typically ssh to my home machine and surf with lynx or mozilla
over X.  Mozilla is extremely slow on the BS upstream, and lynx is
sometimes very difficult to use.

Just wondering if there are better terminal-based browsers out there than
lynx.  I know, of course, no terminal-based browser can handle all pages
because many pages just assume you have gui, but is there a better effort
out there?
