[ale] TipJar presenter needed for Thursday

The ALE Central meeting this Thursday is in search of a TipJar 
presentation.  If you are planning to attend, please consider presenting.  
Any 5-10 minute presentation would be welcome.  

Here are some potential topics:
  What is unique about [SuSE, Gentoo, Slackware, ...]?
  Neat things you can do with this neat little program (e.g. GIMP, GnuCash, 
SANE).
  How I got good looking fonts in X.
  Linux on a laptop.
  A 10 minute intro to a programming language.
  Using themes with GNOME or KDE or both.

These are of course only examples.  If you have solve a tricky problem 
recently, please consider sharing your solution with TipJar presentation 
on Thrusday.
