Okay, granted it's crackpot. Here goes...

Remember a few years ago, back when Carnivore was such a huge issue?
Since then there's been a tremendous surge in spam. Now, we are all
acclimated to the notion that all our mail is keyword-filtered at the
ISP level. Does anyone protest? Nope, instead it has become a selling
point.
Do I think the Feds are in any way involved? No, but it's terrific
backhanded PR for the mothers.
