[ale] OT: why does RH give you a warning about playing MP3 an d not other distros?

also, is it still a pain to get security updates or the like from RH.?? at one time you had to sign in to a page that said you weren't from America and weren't using an internet connection in the U.S. (maybe a slight exaggeration on my part for effect).

think this was a DMCA issue...
