Java UI Developer

Responsibilities

     1. Design, development and maintenance of security data acquisition
        software, primarily focusing on user-interface aspects
Profile

     1. 3-5 years of strong Java programming experience, preferably new
        commercial development projects
     2. Ability to refine and implement UI components from
        specifications required
     3. Knowledge and prior use of design pattern methodology preferred
     4. Commercial UI development (in Java, C, or C++), particularly
        broad audience interfaces, a plus
     5. Java development experience under UNIX/LINUX preferred (Eclipse,
        IntelliJ, CVS, Ant)
     6. Database development experience a plus (MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL,
        etc)
     7. Knowledgeable on client-server development
     8. Java AWT and Swing experience required, familiarity with Java 2D
        and 3D API a plus
     9. Knowledge of PERL, PHP, and XML a plus 
    10. Strong written and verbal communications required 
    11. Experience with security products is a big plus
