[ale] OT: SCO help needed

Trying to add an alias to net0 on a SCO box.  I use "ifconfig net0 -alias
IpAddr netmask ...".  The alias get added and routing table is populated but
can't ping other devices on same subnet.  Other devices can ping the alias
IP.  It seems like SCO is sending the ping with the destination of the _non_
aliased ip.  Any suggestions or help is welcomed.
