I want to allow my users to supercede the base spamassassin ruleset, and I
know that spamassassin is supposed to be able to do that by looking at
~/username/.user_pref or something similar.
Here's the problem: I use cyrus, specifically to avoid my users having
shell accounts (and thus, no ~/username). What I would like is instead of
looking at ~/username/.user_pref, to get spamassassin to look at
/individualprefs/username for its config. Make sense? Also I'm calling
spamassassin thru MailScanner, but I doubt that makes any difference.
I'm googling and looking thru the spam assassin perl file to see where it
sets this information, but if anyone out there has done this I would be
very appreciative of any assistance/advice/pitfalls to avoid.
thanks
