I personally think there's a new bug out.  I'm having the same problem
using X11 forwarding with SSH.  On a couple other lists I'm on I've seen
alot of complaints of the same thing.  No resolution just alot of "Why
isn't X forwarding working?  What am I doing wrong?" type questions.
