[ale] Linux Router?

Hey guys,

Does anyone know the status of the linux router project?  www.linuxrouter.org 
seems to have been abandoned, and now things have been picked up on another 
site.  Was their some kind of development split?

I've got an upgraded sparc that I was considering throwing Linux or *BSD on 
for use as a router.  Anyone had any successes with this kind of work and, 
more specifically, doing it on Sparcs?
