You didn't notice it loading?
Seriously, this is a huge case of overkill. The same could have been
done with javascript in about 10 lines of code. You gain speed as well
as quick turnaround on development.
Anyone that would provide such a solution, shouldn't be programming.
Understood, it's not a 'mission critical' system, but, unless the Java
effort was a learning experience on the programmers part, it was a very
poor design solution.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
