[ale] ouch...bitten by mutt

Damn it.....

Ran mutt with an example muttrc file...just to give it a try.  Evidently,
the rc file had a setting that deletes all read mail, because when I
exited it it  deleted 299 messages...many of which I'd like to get back.

Anyone know if it's possible?
