[ale] service pack one XP rumor

I heard this story this weekend about Windows XP.  it seems that if you have a corporate
edition that had a blank Key code and you download service pack 1.  Your OS is made
read-only?  Has anyone seen this on the news or have any links to it? I thought it may
make for some good reading.


I don't use XP unless I am installing it for a client.
