[ale] resolver problems

My bad, I do have the print.home.edu before print.  Other suggestions? 
I don't understand why ping get's there, but the browser does not. 
Further, I can't print to the printer on 'print' and I suspect it has to 
do with this issue as well.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
