[ale] cups continued

looking around on this box, it appears that maybe my port may not be set 
up correctly.  Although I see the following in the messages log:

parport0: PC-style at 0x378 [SPP]

In /proc/parport/hardware I find:

base: 
0x378
irq: 
none
dma: 
none
modes: 
SPP

So, anyone know of a setparallel???? :(

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
