[ale] odd mounting behavior

I have a dual boot machine (Win2k/Linux) booted as linux.  On this 
drive, I have two NTFS partitions mounted and accessible under linux.
I then export the directory they're mounted in, so that I can access 
them via NFS.  When attempt to mount these directories remotely, I get 
no error messages, but they appear empty.

Any ideas?
