When I looked into this a while ago there were some $100 solutions for
doing ethernet to HPNA conversion. I haven't tried them, but I can't
think of a good reason they won't work under Linux. That was my advice
to my sister. She chose not to act on it so I can't tell you if my
guess was correct.
