[ale] easy iso upgrades (revised)

No, no wait.  All we need to do is modify the iso9660
filesystem to make it read/write, write a patch for
cdrecord so it can handle the new filesystem, and of
course then we whip off a quick conversion utility. 
Should only take a couple of hours.  Who's in?  ;D
