This depends alot on what it is that's starting it, which window manager 
you're using and which,if any desktop env. (gnome/kde) you're using.

You can start any browser through various avenues. What action is it 
that you are taking that's starting the browser?

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
