It's only paranoia, but I'm afraid that if you dd from one partition to
the other, you may run in similar problems due to different sector sizes
and so. That's why I would just cp -avx * /destination/. And then sys a:
c:
But again, I have not messed with windows in a while. I don't know if it
expects any of its files to be in certain places within the disc. Like
the swapfile or or IO.SYS or so.
