[ale] Port monitoring

Hi:

Can someone point me to a program which will display 
(perhaps graphically) port scans hitting my computer 
from the net? I'm running Mandrake 8.1 with its firewall
and KDE.

It would be nice to be able to see how frequently break-ins 
are attempted - and maybe help me convince my friends to 
secure their computers.
