[ale] Sendmail relay problem

I am setting up my first e-mail server using sendmail and am having one
problem in the configuration with regards to relaying. I can send mail to
anywhere while local on the box, but when I try to send through a mail
client to any domain other than the local it says relaying is not allowed.
I have edited the etc/mail/access file to include the following:


localhost.localdomain         RELAY
localhost           RELAY
127.0.0.1           RELAY
mydomain.com                                   RELAY

Again everything else works perfectly with the exception of relaying from
clients.
