[ale] Intel S815EBM1

I have an industrial pc with an Intel S815EBM1 motherboard. Intel claims
that they have successfully tested red hat 7.1 on it.  It has an onboard
video and network. I can't get either to work with Slackware 8 (kernel 2.4.5
I think (how do I check this?)).

Did a google search for instructions on how to get this working with no
luck. Even looked at the vendors site (www.gtweb.net) and www.intel.com .

Could you please help me out?
