[ale] Loading Veritas.com???

I think this is just the result of a dimly-lit programmer:
If I use Opera, set to id itself as IE, it works just fine.
The same browser, set to id as Opera, gets me the error message.
Probably it doesn't check for HTML 4.0 compatibility at all, 
just for the name IE or Netscape.
