[ale] File transfer log

I am needing to create a log to monitor file transfers via secure ftp (ssh)
on a RH 7.1 box. I am using a product called F-Secure and while it logs the
sessions being opened and closed it does not monitor file transmission. It
does create its own logfile in var/log and if possible would like to only
modify that process to include file transfers.  This is a first for me and
I have searched with google but am not finding much useable info, perhaps I
am using wrong keywords. If someone can help or point me to a site that
would be great!
