[ale] Recommendations for Linux-friendly Laptop (again)

Over the summer I bought the latest Inspiron 8200 from Dell's refurb site (dell.com/outlet I think).


This thing is a horse, I think the native resolution is 1600x1200 and redhat8 went on without a single problem.?? I had been warned that I might need to find display drivers but even that wasn't necessary.

Believe it's a 1.7 Ghz with 256 Meg of RAM expandable to a GIG.?? It's a desktop replacement and so has everything you could ever want onboard.

I feel like I got a good deal on it because I got around 800 dollars off by going refurbished, but I still paid 2400 dollars.?? So I wouldn't qualify it as cheap.
