[ale] Recommendations for Linux-friendly Laptop (again)

Yes, another linux laptop question.

I'm looking for a laptop in which I can sacrifice some processing power
for a larger display, as I'll often be using it for a remote display into
another more powerful machine.  I'd like to keep the price as low as
possible.  Any recommendations?

Requirements:
LARGE display
Good range of resolutions from video card
Affordable
Linux-compatible hardware
