[ale] (OT) Wal-Mart $199

Hello,
it is around for a while. But only now i decided to take a look on this as a
:
1. Possible Linux + Oracle 9i server. Don't need much - just want to run
some research tasks on weekends ( you know how it is %) ).
2. Burn CDs
3. Play some games occasionally.

I would assume that i would need about 512 mb and large drive (40G ),
wireless card and cdrw.

Now question:
1. Is it forth to get for ~$200 and upgrade to what i want? Or it will be
still too slow and not worth the money I'll put into it? 
P.S. Yeah, i already have some old 14'' monitor... so probably i won't play
games %))
