w/3.5.x yes but not w/>=4.x
they may have fixed some of this stuff but when we used it there were options
that could only be set via GUI (a la M$) and it required a backend metadata
repository which had to live in an RDBMS (Oracle or DB/2).
having been down both paths I'd go w/tomcat.
