[ale] newserver help

 please help me in newserver setup , while i run
 1.
 # ctlinnd  newgroup domex.newsgroup
 error:
  No innd.pid file; did server die?
  can't send "newgroup" command (sendto failure) No
 such file or directory
 
  2.
  In /var/log/news/news.log
 ...
 innd: SERVER cant dbzinit /var/lib/news/history no
 such file or directory
 
 
 but the /var/lib/news/history file is their
 
 3.
   as a news user if i run the following
 
   # /etc/rc.news
 
   Starting innd.
   Scheduled start of /usr/bin/innwatch
 
   after some time the machine says
 error:
 
   innwatch: [2633] locked by [2619]
   innwatch: [2633] locked by [2619]
 
 
 
   waiting for your favourable reply,
