Yeah, it figures.  Don't get me wrong, contracting's a great way to make 
a living.  You just gotta watch the head hunters.  There's good ones and 
bad ones.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
