[ale] exploring sniffing and http

I've been playing around on my home network and sniffing some http traffic
with tcpdump.

However, I run into problems when a document is encoded (Content-encoding)
with gzip.  Does anyone know of a tool that will recognize http headers and
decode the content accordingly?
