[ale] Emergency install of RH 7.2

My firewall machine went down today.  Anytime I access any
of the hard disks, it reboots.  I can use fdisk to voew and write
partition information but e2fsck will reboot the box.  This
is on both HDD's so I'm thinking it is a failure with MB.  Has anyone seen
this?

I just loaded RH 7.2 on a temporary machine.  It appears that after I
learned iptables
and forgot ipchains that this default install uses ipchains.  How can I
convert to
iptables?

I do not use X on my firewall.  It appears that console based linuxconf is
not installeds.
Has it been depreciated?
