[ale] a scary scenario

An article in The Inquirer today suggests that Microsoft may be looking
to develop its own graphics card and--shudder!--its own processor for
the Xbox. The consequences of this are mind-boggling. The article is

If the scenario played out, everybody who computes would be paying a
Microsoft tax. Ugghhhh!!
