[ale] my monitor

i did a mild search for a xconfig tool in debian..
nothing came up. i did a serious search on what my
monitor was.. well i know it can do 1024x768 at 85 hz
i believe it was.. i dunno.. i found the resolution @
hertz form but i could not find the horizsync and
vertrefresh so now what? am i sol?
