Hi,
I was trying to load a net/ne.o kernel module into a Slack 8.0
GENERIC kernel and got the following errors:
/lib/modules/2.2.19/net/ne.o.gz: unresolved symbol ei_open
/lib/modules/2.2.19/net/ne.o.gz: unresolved symbol ethdev_init
/lib/modules/2.2.19/net/ne.o.gz: unresolved symbol ei_interrupt
/lib/modules/2.2.19/net/ne.o.gz: unresolved symbol NS8390_init
/lib/modules/2.2.19/net/ne.o.gz: unresolved symbol ei_close
The modules are from a 2.2.19 module package that came with the
Slack 8.0 dist. Shouldn't the modules on the install CD be
consistent with the Generic module there? Why am I getting these
I wonder?
TIA.
