[ale] RPM displays error msg

To install x-isp xforms is required.  The Red Hat 6.2 CD does not have
it. After locating a copy on the web, I download
xforms-0.89-2.i386.rpm.  Installing it with rpm -ivh, the following
message is displayed "only packages with major numbers <= 3 are
supported by this version of RPM.  Error: xforms-0.89-2.i386.rpm cannot
be installed"

Will a later version of RPM operate properly with 6.2?
