I got a new printer (HP business inkjet 2200) and I need to compile in
some patches to ghostscript to add the support. It chokes after a while
with the line:
ld: cannot open crtbegin.o: No such file or directory
But it is installed with gcc. The box is RH7.1 plus upgrades. I ran the
compile on another box(RH7.2) with good results.
How does gcc call ld for it's standard stuff? Where should ld be looking
for *.o's to link in?
