Greetings !

Under Debian-2.4.6, when I........

	startx		; as a non-root user

I get..............

	Server must be running with root permissions
	You should be using Xwrapper to start the server

	fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer) \
		on X server :0.0 after 0 requests \
		(0 known processed) with 0 events \
		remaining

and a return to the command prompt.

What's wrong & how is it repaired ?

BTW, if I........

	xf86cfg -xf86config /etc/X11/XF86Config-4

all is well.
