[ale] cdrecord with 2.4.2

Hi Folks,

Hit upon a funny problem.. I recently upgraded to 2.4.2-ac10 (my previous
kernel was 2.2.16).. cdrecord -scanbus fails while trying to open /dev/sg0
with O_RDWR flag with ENOSYS (function not implemented). I am having a 
IDE HP-CDRW with ide-scsi compiled in. Kernel recognizes the drive as a scsi 
drive. I am able to mount/umount /dev/scd0.. 

Any ideas..
