[ale] upgrading to glibc 2.2

Well, I'm confused, but that happens often.  I'm trying to upgrade my
glibc to glibc-2.22.-4mdk, when I attempt the rpm update, it complains
that /sbin/ldconfig is needed by the glibc-2.2.2-4mdk.  I've got
/sbin/ldconfig and it's provided by ld.so-1.9.11-4mdk which is installed
on this system.  Any clues anyone?  This is a very recent install of
Mandrake 7.2
