I dunno...I use NickJr.com for my 4 year old (actually he uses it on our
Linux Box) which is a Shockwave Flash site and it works fine for us.

As for the security issues, my personal opinion is....if you keep it open
long enough and someone wants to get in they will.  At minimum your firewall
IP is seen, with that IP alone, and enough knowledge, someone could be
dangerous.  So, I think the hazards are there regardless...let the kids
(even big ones :-P ) have fun.
