They are a legit opt-in direct e-mail marketer company. Most probably,
one of the free services, you, knowingly or unknowingly signed up for,
has folded and their assets (read as your demographic information
together with your e-mail address) has been turned over to this e-mail
marketing mogul company.
Most probably you will get e-mail advertising along with bits and pieces
of information/humor scattered around it, under few titles. So, as soon
as they come, follow the unsubscribe instructions, in these messages
(probably either on top or bottom), and you will get out of their
mailing list. They are not spammers by no means. I have been in the same
boat few months ago, when a lot of free services I previously signed up,
turned their lists to those guys, and I successfully removed myself from
every each of their mailing lists.
It is a bit of annoyance but, heck, at least it works. Good luck...
Mel.
