[ale] string escaping in bash [followup]

In bash shell (I should've clarified earlier):


Does anyone know how I can echo the following to the screen:


'text "something here"'



It may sound simple, however, I've tried doing it yet I can't.  I've tried
escaping the quotes/doublequotes in various ways unsuccessfully.   It keeps
interpreting them as a comman to run...

Thanks for any suggestions...!
