Ok. I read the man pages on hosts.allow and hosts.deny. I added entries
on the 5.2 machine and the 7.0 machine as follows:

/etc/hosts.allow:
ALL: LOCAL

/etc/hosts.deny:
ALL: ALL

Still doesn't work. Is there something else I need to do?
