ALErs -
I have a couple of scanners on a SCSI interface on my Linux RH6.2 box and
when I bring the whole system up from power-down they are properly
identified and available to my applications ('gimp' and
'xscanimage'). If they are not operational at boot, they are not
available later when I might need them.
In MSWin, this would be no problem, of course, with convenient, frequent
reboots. &8*)
Is there a way can properly register SCSI devices if they are turned on
after my system has completed booting?
TIA.
