[ale] DiskOnChip Products

Anyone here have experience on booting DOC2000 with Linux installed?  I have done this before using lilo but really wish to refrain from lilo.  I would loke to use syslinux but it 
complains about 608k of memory not being enough.  the remaing memory is used by the DOC bios.  If anyone has pointers, I would greatly appreciate them
