[ale] AHH no sound!

well i got a nice perty sweet debian but no sound...
it downloaded some sound stuff i though but.. theres
no sound.. and debian doesnt notice my creative ide
cdrom... minor configuration problems im sure but the
question is... how do i do it? thanks for your time :)
